Concerned about a behavior you're seeing in your dog?
Afraid to let others know you and your dog may be struggling with unwanted behavior problems?
Don’t feel guilty, it's not your fault. I’m here to help.
Using applied behavior analysis we take a look at the environment, the animal, and what consequences are maintaining the behavior of concern. From there we come up with a personalized training and management plan to create behavior change that improves the lives of you and your pet. Many behaviors that our animals display are natural but may have become maladaptive to their current situation because of learning and repeated exposure to a certain stimulus or situation. By looking at all these aspects we can create change through the use of scientifically proven methods.
Here are some of the unwanted behaviors we can tackle together...
Fear related behaviors
Reactivity toward people or toward other dogs
Resource guarding
Impulse control
Destructive behaviors
Compulsive behaviors
And much more...
Only scientifically sound and current behavior modification methods based on positive reinforcement and learning theory will be used so you can be rest assured your dog is getting the best care possible.
Collaboration is at the heart of high quality care. I strive to work hand in hand with your veterinarian, your pet sitters, daycare providers, and everyone in the family to assure your dog's needs and are well met and everyone is on the same page working in tandem.
Save yourself from the undo stress of trying to manage this alone. Fill out the prospective client information form and lets start tackling this together!
